Thanksgiving Blessings!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I know this is about 5 days late. But I just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Justin's mom and sister came in town to celebrate with us. It was Addison's first Thanksgiving. We are gearing up for Christmas and I can't wait until it is here. We will be traveling to Houston to see my side of the family. This year things are a little bittersweet for us, because we know next year the holidays will be spent without Justin. It will be even sadder for him because he will not have any family, and will be living in a dorm room all by himself.

Things I am thankful for:

Justin, the love of my life and soul-mate
Crazy, sweet, strong-willed Raegan
My new bundle of joy Addison
Sawyer, even though he drives me crazy most of the time
Wonderful parents
My little sister and brother, even they are all grown-up and aren't so little anymore
My in-laws
Such a strong network of extended family
That we are financially stable in such economically hard times
That God keeps my husband safe every day that he flies
The opportunity to live near the rest of my family again next year
Fantastic friends that I can go for weeks without talking to and then sit and go over my cell phone minutes in one phone call.
My military "family"...people that will be friends and support no matter where in the world the air force sends us.

Two of my favorite blessings...

Someone was tuckered out from all of the Thanksgiving food.

And here is a picture of everyone (minus me taking the picture) from Thanksgiving weekend.

Dresses for the girls

I made some pillowcase dresses for the girls for their 6 month and 1 year pictures next week. This was my first time to sew clothes. I think they turned out pretty well. I am considering making a new one for Addison, though, because I cut the fabric for hers back in August and just estimated what I thought she would wear now, and I underestimated my chunky little monkey, so it is a little snug.

Both of the girls' dresses together.

Isn't Addison's so tiny and cute?

More Peas Please...not!

This post is for you Maegan! ;)

So, as most of you know by now, I am making my own baby food this time around for Addison. I keep a few jars around the pantry to throw in the diaper bag if I'm going to be out and about during mealtime, but for the most part, we have bags and bags of "food cubes" in the freezer. Well, I just made Addison peas the other day and she liked them. Now, I don't know that she loved them, but she finished them all, so I guess that's all that matters.

Why is this earth-shattering news you might ask? Because, I HATE peas, her sister hates peas, her grandfather hates peas. You may say that "hate" is such a strong word, but that about sums up my relationship with them. In fact, it may not quite do my feelings towards the veggie justice. I only made one tray worth of peas, and unfortunately for Addison, that's probably all she will get. Even the smell of them cooking made me want to gag. I may just have to let Justin give them to her from a jar. Seriously guys, I truly can't think of a vegetable that I dislike more.

So, there is my fun little post about peas. I posted this as an inside joke, so most of you won't get it, but I tried to make it as interesting as possible, haha!

I promise I will blog about Halloween (I know, forever ago) and Raegan's party soon. I'm sure that will be more exciting than peas.

It has begun

Here is a cute picture of Addison holding on to Raegan's pink baby. Raegan got upset that Addison had her doll. The fights over toys has already begun.

Aggie Cuteness

Just wanted to share a picture of my girls all dressed up in their Aggie gear!
