Pumpkin Patch
We took the girls to a pumpkin patch today. We tried to get some pictures of them together, but Raegan was more interested in accosting Addison and trying to smother her with kisses rather than looking at the camera. We did get a few good pictures of the girls individually, once Raegan decided to cooperate and give us a good smile rather than cheesy faces.

Happy 5 years!
Yesterday was Justin and my 5 year anniversary. Seeing how we have two young children, we didn't exactly get to go out anywhere for dinner, so we made a delicious fruit and cheese plate and enjoyed some Moet and Chandon champagne on our back porch. I just love how Raegan's Fisher Price table served as our "patio table".
So, here's to 5 years together Justin! We have had two beautiful daughters, owned our first home together, lived in Texas and Arizona, and experienced countless memories together. Our next adventure will keep us apart for a year, but we will only grow stronger, as individuals, as a couple, and as a family. I will miss you so much when you are in Korea, and am sad our 6th anniversary will be spent half a world apart, but look forward to reuniting on the other side of it all. I love you so much.

Sisters
I just love this picture of the girls. They are so cute together. Raegan was watching a movie in her playroom and wanted Addison to sit in her chair with her.
Cereal, Yum!
We started Addison on cereal yesterday. Justin got to feed it to her since he hasn't been able to feed her at all since she was born. She really liked it. It will still take her a little bit to learn to swallow it well, but I will say, I think she did better on her first try than Raegan.
San Diego
This past weekend we decided to take a trip to San Diego. It is the first time we have gone anywhere since moving to Phoenix in March, except our trip home to Houston back in August. With Justin in training, he can't take any vacation time, so we really only get to go out of town on 3 day weekends. Needless to say, we pretty much have had this trip planned in our heads since moving out here.
San Diego did not disappoint. It was a much needed get away. With it being a 6 hour drive from Phoenix, it was a perfect 3 day weekend trip. We left Friday after Justin got off work. The drive was the first for Addison, and she did pretty well. It's never fun driving long distances with a baby, but since most of the trip was done after her bedtime, she slept a good part of it. However, we got to our hotel super late (esp. since our Garmin took us all over the place before getting us to our hotel in downtown.) Addison woke up and then was so exhausted that I spent over an hour trying to get her to calm down, and was finally able to go to bed myself around 1 in the morning.
On Saturday we headed out to Sea World. Raegan had never been before and could not stop talking about going to see the whales, and sharks, and dolphins. She loved the Shamu show "Believe". For those of you who have not gotten the opportunity to spend time with my little girl, she is a talker. And she loves to recount details of things...to everyone she meets. So after the show she spent all weekend talking about Shamu and how he goes up, and then comes down, and then splashes his tail and gets everyone wet. She is definetly not a summarizer (and she gets that from Justin.)
We got some really good pictures of the Shamu show.
The trainers did not get in the water with Shamu. Some friends of ours said that they didn't get in at the San Antonio show either. I guess they have completely taken it out of the show since, "the incident". Can't say I blame them.
Raegan even got a picture with Shamu in costume.
We walked around and got to see a lot of the animals.
We got Raegan a stuffed penguin at the penguin exhibit since she is in the Penguin room at school. She will be moving up next month when she turns 3, though, so I'm not sure what animal room that is.
Unfortunately, when you go to a theme park with 2 small children, you don't really get to stay as long as you would like because the little ones need naps, so we had to leave after only about 3 hours there. We didn't get to see the dolphin show, but hopefully we will get a chance to go back some day. I will have to say, I think the San Antonio Sea World is better than the San Diego one.
After we went back to the hotel for rest time, we met some friends of ours that were in town as well for dinner that night at this little hole in the wall seafood restaurant. It is called Blue Water Seafood and it was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. It was wonderful. The fish was so fresh. I am so glad we got to try it, because it is one of those places you would normally just drive past if it wasn't passed around by word-of-mouth.
On Sunday, we decided that since we did a big adventure the day before, we would just be chill and explore the town. We drove over to Coronado Island and went down to the beach. Raegan and Justin splashed in the ocean, even though it was freezing, and we took a nice stroll on the beach. The weather was just so wonderful while we were there.
We walked on down to the beach right in front of the historic Hotel del Coronado. It is such a pretty hotel. We didn't go in, but I think we will need to go back and scope out the inside next time.
Then we went to this wonderful French cafe for lunch called , Tartine. It overlooked the bay facing San Diego. Justin ordered a cappucino and I had a glass of wine. We split a Croque Monsier, a yummy cheese and fruit tray, and a Creme Brulee, although Raegan ate most of the dessert. I just loved the feel of the restaurant. We will definetly go back there next time we are in the area.
Then it was back to the hotel again for naptime. Justin went and toured the USS Midway while the girls napped. Then we got up and headed down to Seaport Village across from our hotel for some exploring and dinner. We were able to stroll down by the marina and then eat in an open air food court. Raegan and her friend Liberty rode the carousel, but we didn't get any pictures of it because it was seriously the fastest carousel I've ever seen.
Monday morning we woke up, and since we had been eating mediocre breakfasts at the Embassy Suites, we checked out of the hotel and stopped at Richard Walker's Pankcake House for breakfast. There were way too many yummy looking options. I ordered a banana crepe, and Justin ordered bacon waffles. Oh my goodness, the waffles were to die for. Yet another restuarant we will be going back to again. We seriously may just have to take a trip to San Diego again just to eat.
The trip was so much fun. San Diego has so many things to do. It is a little harder to do everything with small children, but it was so worth it. We hope to take the girls back again, and hopefully a romantic couples trip someday.

Road Trip!
We are headed to San Diego for the weekend. Justin has a 3 day weekend from work and we figured this would be a good time to check out this side of the country since we haven't really done any site-seeing since living in Phoenix. This will be Addison's first car trip, so I'm a little nervous about how she will do. We are going to leave tomorrow after Justin gets off work, so hopefully she will sleep a good part of the time. We plan on hitting up Sea World, and then just exploring the area and probably do a little beach combing. I should have some good pictures to post when we get home. Cross your fingers for smooth travels.

Blog Revival!
So, I know it has been almost a year and a half since I have posted on this thing, but I have decided that in light of our recent assignment news, I will try and revive this blog and keep up with it more. For those of you that don't already know, Justin recently found out that he will be stationed in Korea for a year, and our family won't be able to go with him. He will most likely move at the beginning of February. I have decided to move back to Katy for the year and live near my family. This is going to be a very difficult time for our family and we are so sad that our husband/daddy won't be with us. We are going to try and make the best of the situation, and it will definitely help being close to Mimi, Papaw, and Aunt Jordy. So, since Justin won't be around to watch his little girls grow, my hope is that I can try and update the blog almost daily with a few things we did with our day. Since Justin will only get to Skype with us a couple of times a week, he can check the blog to see what we have been up to.
So there we have it folks. I'm back and ready for action...sort of. I'm sure I won't blog like crazy for the next four months because we are going to try and soak up as much love and attention from our loving hubbie/daddy and that will take most of my time, but I will try and keep up on some stuff, and then come February get ready for an overload of blogs about the most precious children in the world. Bluebonnets
So I figure since it has been about 2 and a half months since I have blogged on here, I better do some updating. Recently we had some pictures taken in the bluebonnets. We figure this is our last spring here so we definitely has to get a piece of Texas captured in photo. My friend Angi has started her own photography business and she is really doing a great job. She took some family photos for us as well as some beautiful pictures of our princess. Here are a few that we got.

Stay-At-Home Mom
So, I am officially no longer working at the bank. Due to recent events that have taken place there I did not feel like it was the place for me anymore. After a lot of soul searching and a few raw emotions I decided a couple of weeks ago to put in my resignation. I gave an extended notice for May 1st, however, yesterday it was decided that it was not necessary for me to be there until then. I'm actually very happy and at peace with where I am in my life right now. It is time for me to stay at home with my little girl and take part in things that I did not get to enjoy while I was working. I am looking forward to all of the traveling this summer to see friends and family, and an exciting family vacation to Pensacola.
On a yucky note, Raegan has had some stomach bug issues this week and it truly has not been pleasant. For all of my other stay-at-home moms out there, you better start calling me for lunch and play dates. Introduce me to your fabulous world. =)

4 Wheelin'
We went to a birthday party for Mason Krol and he had a little Kawasaki 4-Wheeler. Raegan really enjoyed being on it, so I think at some point we may need to get her own ride...maybe a pink one. She also had fun playing with Sarah, however she didn't like it when Sarah was on the 4-wheeler. After Sarah would slide off (since she was only 8 1/2 months, Raegan would hop on to show Sarah what a big girl she was. Sigh. Kids, they are so competive.
